Christine Jennings
Christine Jennings has a varied background in finance, politics and community service. She was the Founder, President, CEO and Chairperson of Sarasota Bank from 1992-2003. In 2003 the bank was sold and she retired from banking after 40 years. She was a candidate for U.S. Congress in the 2006 & 2008 elections. From 2009-2014 she was the CEO of Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe.
In the community she has served as Past President for: The John & Mable Ringling Board of Trustees, Sarasota Ballet of Fl. ,Sarasota Film Festival, Downtown Association and the Mental Health Organization. For her community service she has been recognized by the Howard University Club with their Humanitarian Award, SCOPE’S Boundary Crosser Award and was inducted in the Community Video Archives. Currently, she is the Board Chair for Canandaigua National Trust Co. of Fl. and serves on the Senior Friendship Center Board of Directors.
